Digital Marketing Manager

Brighton Agency is looking for a passionate, experienced Digital Marketing Manager to join our Strategy & Planning team. At Brighton, we deliver daily on making extraordinary things happen for our clients, their brands and their customers. Successful candidates will have a track record of achieving outstanding results using strategic skills in the planning process and deep knowledge of online marketing. You’ll coordinate with other agency disciplines like influencer engagement, creative, media, multimedia and digital. You’ll develop and execute innovative strategies and tactics for some of the leading brands that reach and engage Farm, Food and Family audiences.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:   

  • Develop, manage, execute and analyze digital marketing strategies to support our clients
  • Support new-business development efforts including marketing and proposals
  • Manage search marketing projects (SEM, SEO and local search) including planning, keyword research, copywriting, optimization and analtyics
  • Manage email marketing projects including planning, production, database management and analytics
  • Manage CRM/marketing automation projects including planning and execution
  • Manage social media marketing projects including planning, optimization and analytics
  • Responsible for effectively managing multiple ongoing projects
  • Coordinate closely with Brand Building team, Creative Designers and Software Engineers
  • Maintain high degree of direct interaction and relationship development with clients, in collaboration with Brand Builders
  • Lead client projects such as email blast productions, database management and client training
  • Responsible for monitoring agency hour costs and project timelines with project coordination, internal trafficking and timeline management

DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • 5 to 8 years of experience with project/account management in an agency or corporate marketing setting; B.S. in marketing, communications or related area required
  • Documented experience managing online marketing campaigns including SEM, SEO and email
  • Proven hands-on experience with Google AdWords, Google Analytics and at least one major email marketing platform (e.g., Exact Target, Constant Contact, MailChimp)
  • Display advertising experience a plus
  • Ability to thrive independently and as a team member in a creative, friendly and fast-paced environment
  • Proven leader with strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills

Brighton Agency is looking for a passionate, experienced Copywriter to join our Audience Engagement team. You’re good with words, but you also understand that words are only as compelling as the ideas they express. Not surprisingly, you’re mildly obsessed with developing original concepts and messages that make an impact—from campaigns to collateral. You’re analytical enough to dive into research but intuitive enough to sense when something important isn’t captured by it. You’re adept at understanding technical concepts and making them accessible through your writing.

As a member of our Creative team, you will work with our Strategy & Planning, Influencer Engagement and Brand Builder teams to propose and create messaging that connects brands and people with thoughtful and engaging marketing solutions. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Senior Influencer Engagement Manager

At Brighton, influencer engagement combines a number of related disciplines including messaging strategy, media relations, influencer outreach, social media, content development and community management. The successful candidate will be tasked with developing and helping execute innovative influencer programs for clients that effectively “break through the noise” and connect by delivering value and results. You’ll work across several clients, side by side with collaborative and committed colleagues across disciplines like brand building, creative, media and insights. And you’ll develop strategy and content for some of the leading brands that reach and engage Farm, Food and Family audiences.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:   

As a key leader on our Influencer Engagement team, you will work with our Customer Insights and Brand Builder teams to propose and implement strategic influencer engagement programs that connect brands and people with thoughtful and engaging marketing solutions.

This is an opportunity to showcase your passion and deep knowledge for media relations, social media, content creation and analysis. Primary responsibilities for the position include:

  • Proactively driving winning ideas forward as part of Brighton’s strategic planning process
  • Integrating social and consumer insight into context that builds brands
  • Engaging in traditional public relations activities, including writing articles and press releases, testimonial gathering, media relations, event support, photography, and media training in addition to social PR tactics
  • Developing relationships with media contributors of importance to our clients’ businesses, monitoring media activities; and responding to media requests (traditional and social)
  • Generating, editing, publishing and sharing content, optimized for the target platform and audience, that builds meaningful connections and encourages audiences to take action
  • Creating editorial calendars for social and traditional content creation and execution
  • Seeking out, embracing and identifying innovative ways to amplify social advocates for our clients’ brands
  • Using relevant social data and reporting to consistently optimize social media impact and content on an on-going basis
  • Identifying and engaging online influencers such as bloggers, YouTubers, etc.

REQUIREMENTS

  • 7 to 10 years of experience with public relations experience in a corporate or agency setting, B.S. in Communications, Marketing, New Media, Public Relations or similar required
  • Experience with social media in an agency environment, along with a deep knowledge of online and traditional marketing channels
  • Strategic content creation and excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills with ability to work with a wide range of personalities and audiences
  • Strong understanding of user-generated content management, content marketing and reputation management.
  • Experience recruiting and managing digital influencers and online personalities
  • Farm, food or family marketing communications experience a plus
  • Ability to illustrate results and go the extra mile for clients
