Production Designer

Potential candidates must possess 3-5 years of experience in the creative, advertising, or marketing industries.  We are looking for hard-working, detail-oriented, multi-tasking professionals who know the critical importance of managing client expectations and relationships, while working across teams to ensure that deliverables are on time, on budget, and error free.

DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Fine Art, etc. or equivalent experience required
• 3 to 5 years related experience
• A portfolio that demonstrates attention to detail, problem solving, experience preparing files for a range of printing techniques (digital, offset, etc.), and creative solutions to unique problems
• High personal accountability with an excellent eye for detail
• Fluent in use of Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe InDesign
• Knowledge of printing processes
• Work closely with art directors to execute design concepts and take them through the mechanical stage
• Implement changes and revisions quickly and accurately
• Responsible for proofing, preflighting, preparing and press checking files
• Performs image retouching, file corrections and image optimization
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Work well as part of a team, with ranges of people and personalities
• Work well under pressure
