Senior Account Manager

If so, Brighton Agency is looking for a Senior Account Manager with 8 to 10 years of experience to help build our business by helping our clients build theirs.

Reporting to the Account Director, the Senior Account Manager plays a leading role in making things happen for clients across a range of industries including pet care, consumer products and agriculture. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a proven ability to drive outstanding results through client service, brand/tactical planning and campaign execution while ensuring projects are impactful and executed on time and on budget.

Experience in an agency or corporate marketing setting is preferred. A positive attitude and respect for others is essential.


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work with special teams and subject matter experts across the agency to drive business forward
  • Lead multiple mid-to-large size projects from start to finish including managing timelines, communicating with clients and leading the internal process (estimate creation, strategy development, project management and file delivery)
  • Develop a deep understanding of our clients and their industries to provide solutions that achieve business objectives
  • Assist clients with annual brand planning including identifying goals, objectives, opportunities and strategies for the year
  • Foster client relationships to build trust and a shared interest in their success
  • Manage client budgets and invoices while also ensuring profitability
  • Maintain and hit accurate client forecasts
  • Identify and support new business and organic growth opportunities
  • Supervise junior team members and delegate responsibilities while meeting deadlines


DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • 8 to 10 years of account management experience in an agency or corporate marketing setting; a B.S. in marketing, communications or related field required
  • Agriculture, pet care or CPG experience a plus
  • Ability to build marketing/communication/strategic plans for clients
  • Exceptional attention to detail and time-management skills with the ability to work with a wide range of personalities and audiences
  • Proficiency in revenue forecasts and managing multiple client budgets
  • Exceptional writing and oral communication skills, including leading client presentations
  • Ability to illustrate results and go the extra mile for clients
  • Whether working independently or as part of a team, simultaneously manage multiple priorities in a creative, friendly and fast-paced environment
  • Experience in digital media, such as data analytics, social media or paid media a plus
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
