Paid Media Strategist

This position is directly responsible for managing Brighton’s paid media client portfolio. The paid media strategist will oversee the day-to-day performance of accounts, be well informed of trends, creative strategies, and tried-and-true paid media best practices. Qualified candidates have experience in performance marketing and are comfortable troubleshooting performance for a wide variety of campaign types in various platforms. They excel at data analysis, critical thinking, and possess a commitment to continually improve account performance.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Planning, developing, and implementing comprehensive CPC paid media strategies to increase awareness, and drive new user acquisition and leads via paid search and paid social platforms
  • Preparing advertising schedules and timelines for client onboarding, campaign launch, and ongoing account optimization
  • Developing ad copy for paid media campaigns in conjunction with other creatives
  • Compiling daily, weekly, monthly, and lifetime reports with key performance indicators and insights, sharing internally and presenting to clients
  • Staying informed with paid search and paid social industry best practices, trends and technologies and platform updates
  • Assessing keyword targets, landing page content, and text ad copy are aligned and optimized
  • Assuring conversion tracking is implemented and tested within platforms (Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager etc.) to track all pertinent data within the sales funnel

DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Deep experience creating, implementing and optimizing CPC campaigns across paid search and paid social platforms including Google, Microsoft, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter
  • Expert with keyword research, bid management, targeting and ad copy testing
  • Proven ability to optimize CPC campaigns, showing positive ROI and achieving business objectives
  • Well-versed in Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and UTM codes
  • Excel expertise and a strong ability to analyze data, make actionable decisions and recommendations
  • Self-motivated, highly organized and able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Confident interpersonal communicator and relationship builder
  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Agency experience preferred
