Motion Designer

Brighton is looking for a passionate visual storyteller to join our Motion Design team. This person is ready to tackle edits and animations while collaborating with co-workers to execute creative ideas.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Handle video edits of all shapes and sizes, from 30-second spots to short-format, documentary-style testimonials
• Execute animations in a variety of styles, making the most of the simple executions and leaning into the details when able
• Work daily with creative directors, art directors and writers to collaborate and execute projects at the highest level

DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• 5 years of postproduction experience
• Extensive knowledge of After Effects and Premiere Pro, basic knowledge of Illustrator and Photoshop
• Knowledge of Cinema 4D, 3D render engines and DaVinci Resolve is a plus
• Ability to take creative feedback and collaborate to offer solutions
• Deadline-oriented with strong time management skills
• A willingness to pitch in and help in any circumstance

BONUS SKILLS

• Video and film production knowledge
• Understanding of current camera technology
• Ability to operate a camera and handle basic lighting of interviews and other small-scale productions
